Druk path trek is the most popular trek in Bhutan. It is the journey between Paro and Thimphu and the trek is Possible from February to May and from September to December.

Itineraries:

Day 1

The trekking starts from the trial near the Paro National Museum. The trekking route follows a rough road which of 30 minutes. Climb uphills and you will reach Damchena which is in the altitude of 2880m. Continue hike through forest and you will reach Jili La pass and this place is excellent for camping.

Day 2

Visit Jili Dzong.From the dzong you will decend down hill. Climb again and take a route to the west and you will reach Jangchu Lakha theplace famous for yak pastures. Continue the journey up to 30 minutes, the you will find camping spot in Rabana.

Day 3

From Rabana a horse trial ascends the ridge diagonally to a view point at the altitude of 3960m. Decend down the mountain and after hiking for an hour you will reach to Langye Jala. Continue the journey until you see the view of Chumbu Naye (Piligrmage spot) and after few hours of hiking you will reach to Jimilang Tsho.

Day 4

Climbing up to the trial through yellow rhododendron and decend down the hill until you reach Simkora Tsho. Walk down for few hours until you reach Labana Camp side.

Day 5

After climbing the final summit of Labana La you will decend down again where you will enjoy the view of Jhomolhari and Dochu La. Continue the journey down, you will reach to Phajoding monastry overlooking Thimphu city and finally to Motithang where vehicle will be waiting for you.
