Begin the trekking by climbing through conifer forest and after few hours you will reach to Sharna Zampa. About 15 minutes beyond Sharna Zampa you will reach to Jigme Dorji Wangchuck National park. Continue hiking about two hours, then you will reach Shing Karap a stone house. Walk again for few hours you will reach a wooden bridge where you have to cross Paro chu. From there the route goes down and continue until you reach to camp site in Soi Yaksa. Follow the trial along Paro chu until you reach the place of Thangthangka.
From early morning you will resume the journey by climbing up beyond the camp.By half an hour you will reach to the IMTART camp. Continue the hike untill you reach the village of Soe and an hour walk from Soe will lead to Takethang (Cluster of stone house). Traverse opposite side where you will see few houses of Dangochang and from here you have to climb steep uphill until you reac to camp site at Jangothang.
From jangothang the slope is gentle and if you walk for four hours you will get an excellent view of Jichu Drakye. Then you will go up in the direction of Jhomolhari.
This is the route from Jangothang to Lingzhi. Descend and cross a log bridge to the left pank of Paro chu and hike until you reach reach to the slope of Nyile La which is four hours walk from the camp site. The you can climb up towards north west and continue walking until you reach to Cha Shi Thang camp site. Then hike towards Lingzhi which is at the opposite side of Jaji Chu.
The fifth day is from Lingzhi to Shodu and this is a long trekking. Climb towards a white chorten above the camp. After three hours walk from the camp the route crosses the Mo chu. Again you should climb up until you reach Yeli La which is at 4930m where you can see Jhomolhari and Gangchen Ta. While decending you will reach to Khedu Tsho which is the valley with huge lake. While descending and following the trial of rivers you will reach to upper Wang chuu valley. Then finally to Shodu camp.
Upon leaving Shodu continue journey and there you will have to cross river several time and the route continue until it reach to the place of Barshong and just below it, you will find the designated camp.
The route here descend through Rhododendron forest and it will and after 30 minutes walking through forest you will reach to Ta Gume Thang and you should continue your hike until you reach to the camp site of Doelam Kencho in a large meadow.
From the camp a track climb back to the main trial and descend to the stream and the you continue along the rocky stream bed of Wangchu river. Then you reach to Dodina which is at the opposite side of Chari Goenpa.
